TravelSafe Japan provides free tools and guides for travelers visiting Japan, including:

• AI-generated allergy communication cards in Japanese
• Travel rule checkers and calculators (visa, driving permit, medication, JR Pass, tax refund, etc.)
• Guides based on official Japanese sources

2. Free Use and Fair-Use Limits

The Service is free and needs no account. To keep it available to everyone, the allergy card generator has a daily limit per IP address. We may change limits or features at any time. If we introduce paid features in the future, we will publish their terms before offering them.

3. Your Inputs

You are responsible for the allergens and restrictions you enter. Check every generated card against your own medical advice before relying on it.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse our API endpoints
• Submit content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights
• Circumvent usage limits or rate limits through technical means
• Share, resell, or commercially exploit the Service without written permission

5. Intellectual Property

All content, design, code, and trademarks of TravelSafe Japan are owned by us or our licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our express written consent. Allergy cards you generate are yours to print and share for personal use.

6. Third-Party Services

The Service integrates with third-party providers including Google AI / Gemini (allergy card text), Cloudflare (hosting) and Upstash (rate limiting). Use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the accuracy of data sourced from third parties.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE OR COMPLETE.

8. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRAVELSAFE JAPAN SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING ANY HARM RESULTING FROM RELIANCE ON AI-GENERATED ALLERGY CARDS OR ON TOOL RESULTS.

9. Termination

We may block access to the Service, or to any part of it, for anyone who violates these Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tokyo, Japan.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. Material changes are posted on this page with a new effective date.
